Bad news … and some advice
Been kind of obsessed with going to the beach lately. Probably cause I’m old, and old people love the beach, as illustrated below
they … are lovin’ the beach:

How about you? Do you like the beach?
Well if you also work during the week and live in Tallinn, i have some bad news.
Made this chart of weather for 2009 because one thing that comes with chemo is spare time, way too much spare time for making things like weather charts apparently. Warning to Tallinners, though this is confirmation of something we’re all sort of aware of, it is also likely the most depressing thing you’ll ever see. Unless you like cloud, and rain, and wearing a jacket that is.
We’re all smart and stuff here so i won’t overexplain it. Instead i’ll sum it up in 2 words: 8 days … 8 fucking days to go to beach in all of 2009.

Geeky Notes: a “warm” day is any day that is 20 degrees or more, a “sunny” day is any day that is party cloudy or better
And it gets worse, here are the numbers from 2010. The. record. breaking. hottest. summer. ever. What did Tallinn’s hottest summer give us? 14 days. And 14 lousy days are the best it will ever get what with last summer being the hottest summer ever and all.

Which leads me to to my advice for beach lovers:
If the weather is nice and you have the day off - GO TO THE BEACH.
Skip old town days, skip watching that random 90s band playing õllesummer, skip the park, skip the adventuring hike in the forest, skip sitting at home on your ass surfing the web, skip them all.
Cause if it’s a sunny saturday in July and you go somewhere else instead of the beach, you may have to wait until next fucking year until you get a chance to go again.
